These processes are designed to ensure that the grant program continues to support projects that align with Arbitrum's focus on finance and contribute to the growth and development of the Arbitrum ecosystem.
1. Evaluation Criteria: The success of a project is evaluated based on a number of criteria. These include:
- Proof of Integrity: The project team must demonstrate integrity in all their dealings. This includes adhering to a code of conduct, following best practices, providing regular reports, maintaining transparency, disclosing any conflicts of interest, and disclosing any material economic changes.
- Progress Towards Goals: The project team must demonstrate progress towards the goals outlined in their proposal. This includes achieving milestones, delivering on commitments, and making a positive impact on the Arbitrum ecosystem.
- Community Engagement: The project team must engage with the Arbitrum community. This includes participating in the Arbitrum Governance Forums, responding to feedback, and contributing to discussions and debates about the future of Arbitrum.
- Financial Management: The project team must demonstrate effective financial management. This includes using the grant funds responsibly, providing detailed and transparent reports on the use of funds, and demonstrating a commitment to the long-term financial sustainability of the project.
2. Future Funding Decision: The decision to provide future funding to a project is based on the project's evaluation. If the project is successful according to the evaluation criteria, the grant will auto-renew at the end of the quarter. If the project is removed from the roundtable, the grant will not auto-renew.
3. Feedback and Improvement: Whether a project receives future funding or not, the project team will receive feedback from the Arbitrum DAO and Roundtable. This feedback is intended to help the project team understand the decision and to provide guidance for future applications. The project team is encouraged to use this feedback to improve their project and their chances of receiving future funding.
The evaluation and future funding processes are designed to ensure that the Arbitrum DAO grant program continues to support projects that align with Arbitrum's focus on finance and contribute to the growth and development of the Arbitrum ecosystem. They also promote accountability and trust within the Arbitrum DAO, ensuring that the grant program continues to support the growth and development of the Arbitrum ecosystem.
